Existing lighting layout
Henley's, Galashiels
Carried out a site visit, were I surveyed the lighting positions and detailed the electric layout of switches. This was to gain more of an insight of the building and due to the designs proposal requiring low cost budget. It was necessary to access the current features and analyse the foundations to get more of a design proposal.
Café recharge, proposed floor plan consisted of a adaptable multi-functional space. Where the furniture could be adapted for different activities for a workshop environment to a business meeting environment. Different levels allowed my group and I to explore further with ceiling heights. To reduce the height a modular box frame was developed with a sustainable touch of live plants and use of adjustable hanging pendants allowing the space to be more adaptable.
